Welcome To My Crazy Life

Hello...it’s me (Leslie).  I love song references so please forgive me but I can’t help myself.  We have all been navigating through this new and unknown world for some time now and I wanted to take a moment to say hello. Welcome to my crazy life.  If you didn’t know or are new here, I’m the founder of Lucky Jade.  Lucky Jade in many ways is my third child and my labor of love.  The timing felt right to start writing some new and fresh posts here to share more about myself and what really goes into owning my own business while also being a wife and mother. I hope you enjoy my sense of humor, my wisdom, and a bit of sarcasm as I navigate my way through this crazy thing we call life.  

I invite you on my journey as a designer of many things, vintage clothing enthusiast, foodie, clothes horse, and of course a mom. I’m a mother of two...my daughter is 18, and my son is 10.  Been married for 25 years and live near Los Angeles, where I was born and raised. 

My fashion career began after college.  I loved fashion at an early age and knew it was my calling.  I worked in women’s for ten years doing everything from practically sweeping the floors to design presentations with major customers.  While pregnant with my daughter I struggled to find what I wanted for her nursery so I took matters in my own hands and created Lucky Jade.  Many years and ideas later I’ve added lots of girl’s dresses and some womens to the collection...more about that later. I also love home interiors, styling, art, and plants.
